FAQs
What sort of classes do you offer?
We teach a variety of martial arts, including boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, and Jiu Jitsu. Check out our class schedule to learn about the times and days in which each discipline is taught.
How do the memberships work? What are the prices?
We offer month-to-month payments as well as pay-in-full options to our members.
If a member is only interested in striking (boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai) or grappling (wrestling, Jiu Jitsu) classes, we offer a Single Discipline membership for $140 per month.
If a member wants to train all disciplines that we offer, we have the Multi Discipline membership for $160 per month.
Kids memberships (13 and under) are $160 per month.
Pre-paying for 3, 6, or 12 months will lower your overall tuition. See an instructor for more information.
When a new member signs up, they will create a profile for themselves and their family if applicable. A credit card is required to be placed on file and all credit card transactions will be charged a 4% surcharge. We do accept multiple forms of payment.
Do you allow drop-ins?
Yes, we accept drop-ins: 1 Day = $30; 3 Days = $50; 7 Days = $65.
What will I need for classes?
You’ll need certain things for each class. No matter the class, always make sure to bring your own water with you and shoes/sandals to wear while off of the mats.
For striking classes (boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai):
gloves (16oz is the most common)
shin guards (kickboxing and Muay Thai)
mouthpiece
handwraps
athletic cup
For grappling classes (jiu jitsu, wrestling):
athletic fit clothing
no loose or baggy clothes
no zippers
no tank tops
rashguard
shorts and/or spats
Gi (only needed for Gi class)
Do you have anything for kids?
We offer a kids class five days per week. In the kids class, we demonstrate techniques both in striking and grappling. At least two days a week, kids train in the Gi. We also have the kids play a variety of games that reinforce the lessons they learn in class and are also tons of fun!
Do you offer discounts?
We offer discounts to retired/active military and first responders.
What hygienic issues should I be aware of?
Hygiene is a high priority when it comes to martial arts training. Here a few things to ensure you don’t deal with hygiene issues:
Always wear shoes while off of the mats. NEVER go barefoot in the restrooms.
Keep fingernails and toenails trimmed and clean.
Wash hands regularly and shower immediately after practice to prevent skin infections. Having body wipes in your gym bag is also a good idea.
Do not wear your day clothes to practice. Change into your gym clothes before getting on the mats. If you are taking back-to-back classes, have a change of clothes for each practice. A quick hit of deodorant is also a great idea. It’s not fair to your fellow students to have to deal with your sweaty clothes and body odor!
Cover any open wounds/scratches before practice. Do not practice with active skin infections.
